Yesterday was Jason's birthday and I think I had almost as fun as he did. We brought in a bunch of balloons to the office to give to the kids and I also blew up a picture of Jason in his hand me down suit and button fly collar. I took in a yummy Costco cake for the office to share as well. We had some of Jason's favorites for dinner and afterwards he opended his new set of golf clubs. Now if he'd quit working so hard maybe he'll get to use them! I love you Jason!!
This is one of our favorite garlic bread recipes we had for the birthday dinner.
Garlic Bread
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. mayo
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1/2 clove of garlic
1 T. parsley, dried
Melt together over low heat on the stovetop. Remove as soon as it is combined so it doesn't seperate. Cut french bread in half and spread on each side. Place under broiler until lightly toasted. This recipe is enough for 2 loaves of french bread.
