So this past Christmas season, Lauren brought home chocolate covered cinnamon bears from her dance teacher. She brought home two bags actually because a little girl in her class didn't like them, so she gave them to Lauren. I thought they kind of sounded like a gross combination...until I tried one. Love at first bite. Not long after my brother in law gave me another tin of them that they had been giving out at work. Soon after that my friend LeAnn, when I revealed my newest obsession with her, suggested I just make my own. I think it was that same day I headed to Walmart, picked up several bags of cinnamon Santas and baking chocolates, therein turning my kitchen into a chocolate covered cinnamon Santa factory. So naturally when Valentine season came around I found cinnamon lips...

I never thought of that combination! You can't go wrong with chocolate, can you?
Ooh, I have always loved chocolate covered cinnamon bears! Grant thinks I'm crazy, but they're pretty delish. (And of course you went and made your own!...geesh, you never cease to fail!) :)
HAHAHAHAHA!! I think we need to start running again with all of that cinnamon chocolatey goodness! The only problem is.....where are MINE?!!
I was so excited to see this post. these are so my favorite treat. They are a huge seller at the BYU candy counter and that was when I had my first one. My Aunt and Uncle now sell them out here in their store. The midwesterners have not quite caught on to the joy of this treat. I never thought to make my own. I will have to try. I sure miss you. I have been meaning to call and talk about the tonsil thing. I will call you later....margo
That looks so good, I will have to go to the store now and try it out.
I've never been a cinnamon bear person, but the twins got me hooked. The lips are a great idea.I saw cinnamon rabbits at Albertson's today.......
This definitely get's my taste bud juices flowing. I have some leftover chocolate melts from some chocolate covered strawberries I made into a bouquet for our RS Birthday Dinner. The cinnamon bears/lips, whatever sound fantastic. Thanks for another great idea Nancy:0)
