Elder and Sister Dellastatious
On March 4, 2009 my parents received their mission call to serve in the Cleveland, Ohio Mission as CES missionaries. To say they were shocked is an understatement. They had requested somewhere completely different doing something completely different but the Lord knew how amazing they would be teaching the young adults in the Akron,Ohio area. Of course I was so thrilled because I love Ohio!! I loved living there during our 3 years of residency training. I can't wait to visit!! The most shocking part came however when they read that they had to report to the MTC on March 23, only 2 1/2 weeks after receiving their call. I will miss them like crazy but I'm so proud of them for making the decision to go.

i was going to call you and see how all the packing went. did you go down to the mtc today? at least you have an excuse to go visit.
Wow that is great. My parents have loved to serve a mission and it has been great for the family
Very cool. I love writing missionaries!
How wonderful! You'll have yet another excuse to visit Ohio. Do they allow that? I remember having to sort of sneak to visit Matt in Washington State while on his mission...
Wow,that was quick! They look so nice. I bet they'll get the very best care packages in the mission!
Congrats to them! I can't wait to pass the news on to my family!
Oh my gosh. I am so excited. You know i am from that area. Well, I grew up in Chagrin Falls. They are going to be amazing. Tell them it is a lot colder there than Columbus, for some silly reason. So does this mean you are going to visit at some time. I am already jumping out of my seat. I sure have missed you. I need to call you. We have just been so super busy. You know how kids do that. I am so thrilled for your parents. What an amazing experience. I think couple missionaries are the greatest.
what a really special and exciting time for your parents! and i'm glad they have been able to be apart of some very special things with your family before they leave! when you need someone to commiserate with over missing parents, i'm just around the corner because i miss mine pretty regularly! planning any trips out to see them?!
