Today I gave Grayden his first bath...and he HATED it! I can't say I have had another baby that screamed through their first bath the way little G did. I had really wanted to wait until all the kids were here to give him his first bath but they are at my sisters and there was no way to clean up his diaper blowout with wipes. Now I'm glad they weren't here because it may have been just as traumatic for all of them. He didn't even like when I washed his lovely brown locks. Who doesn't love having their hair washed?? Of course I felt horrible that I had made him scream more than the day he was born, so I quick rubbed him down with lotion, dressed him, wrapped him in a blanket and rocked him to sleep. And we both thoroughly enjoyed the latter.

drew HATED his first bath, but kate was surprisingly chill. sorry that gray's was so traumatic. at least he fell into a happy sleep.
You made a memory though! And I can tell you that Cameron was the only one of mine that didn't enjoy baths at first so I can relate. I have pictures of her screaming so you were a nice mommy and waited to take one of Gray after he was all calm and hair combed and everything. I have a feeling that one day very soon he'll decide he likes baths.
