Whew...

For a minute there I thought my blogcation might be permanent! I have so much to catch up on I wasn't sure where to even start. The last month has been a whirlwind. We successfully moved into our new home with MAJOR help from my family! We couldn't have done it without you! It was a long, fun day. This picture was taken a few months back when we first found the house. Whew...

A couple days after we moved in, I celebrated my birthday. That morning when I went to retrieve my cell phone I realized I locked EVERYTHING in the van the night before. My phone, my purse, both sets of keys. I was a wreck. Luckily, my good friend Tracie got AAA out to unlock it. Whew...
The next evening we were working on unpacking while the kids were running around amidst a ton of boxes and furniture. Luke tripped and sliced his upper lip. It was deep enough to need stitches so I assisted Dr. Church while he took care of the injury. And I didn't faint! Whew...

After only a few days in the new house, we left it a complete wreck and made a road trip to Arizona. We had a great time visiting family there despite the heat that was so bad it literally made me nauseous. Lauren stayed an extra four days for "cousins camp" and flew home by herself! Whew...

We were home another three days before I had to leave for Girls Camp. I was called as the Camp Director in my old ward and still wanted to go despite having moved out of the ward. It was an amazing week and I made it home a little more tan and lot more exhausted. This is me (sacred to death) on the high rope swing. Whew...

We have enough projects in the house to keep us busy for a couple years it feels like. But I love the house, our new neighborhood, new friends. And best of all being 7 minutes from Jason's office.

The house looks great, and what a crazy time. Did you do the stiches at home? I would have passed out for sure.

Welcome back from your blogcation! What a busy summer you've had! Poor little Luke, I am so proud of you, Nancy, for not fainting! Good luck with the home improvement projects!

I'm excited, you're back! Okay, I'm worn out just reading the events of the last month. You're a trooper. The house looks great, definitely looking forward to more pics and posts. Isn't it great to have an in-house doctor?
