Lauren and her cousin Matthew were baptized March 28th. We were able to move Lauren's baptism to my sister's stake so they could share this day together. My parents entered the MTC on the Monday before their baptism, but luckily were able to come home from Provo for the weekend. Lauren was able to wear the dress that I wore when I was baptized! She was so excited and little bit nervous when the time came for Jason to baptize her. But afterwards she told me "the water was SO warm!" The day was perfect. I was so proud of Lauren and so happy for her to make this decision that will bring her so much happiness in her life.
We treated her to a special dinner with Mom and Dad at the Mandarin restaurant to celebrate the day. She also received some very special gifts including her first set of engraved scriptures.
