Wikipedia: Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container (usually a tupperware or ammo box) containing a logbook and "treasure," usually toys or trinkets of little value.
For Memorial Day we decided to go geocaching. We had been with our friends once before and had a lot of fun. It was a beautiful day to go. We picked four caches to try and find, all of which were within a mile of our house. We couldn't find the first two but were successful with the second two. The kids were excited to trade their trinkets in for new ones and sign our name on the logbook. we had to take a little hike up the mountainside for our last cache, but it was well worth it. The view was beautiful and the kids kept begging me to take more pictures. This is such a fun outdoor activity that we'll probably be doing a lot of this summer.

That is a lot of fun!! I will have to find out from you how to do it!
Cool idea. Looks like the kids had a lot of fun. We're so behind the times. We don't have a GPS yet, ha!
Ok...I think Chris would have a blast doing this! We'll have to plan something! :)
