I was in Walmart today, a little too close to lunch time, when I walked by an end cap filled with Little Debbie snacks. They had marked them down to $1 a box so I couldn't help myself from stopping. I always remember going to my grandmothers house and having Frosted Flakes and Oatmeal Creme Pies (2 things my mother never bought). So I caved (there's a surprise) and bought a box. Nathan couldn't wait to have one after lunch, probably because he knew me buying snacks like this rarely happens. Don't get me wrong, I love to eat them, I just usually bake stuff like this instead of buying it. I think the domestic aspect erases some of the guilt of eating it. So after lunch I broke open the box of yummy goodness for the boys to try. Nathan took one bite and decided against it and Luke's ended up in tiny pieces all over the floor (none of which made it into his mouth). I still had one child to live out my childhood memory with me. Lauren didn't even give it taste test. She looked at it and told me straight out she didn't want one. Are these really MY biological children, turning down a Little Debbie oatmeal creme pie? I guess Jason and I will just have to enjoy the box all by ourselves...darn.

I don't blame them....once they have had the good homemade stuff, why would anyone want the store bought crap? You have spoiled your kids too much with your good cooking skills!
Logan will not eat Rice Krispies. I have no idea what is wrong with that child. When I make them I like to think he started to like them and that I did not eat almost the entire pan myself. Twinkies are on my list of joy's, but is always second to Rice Krispies.
You kill me... I haven't stopped thinking about your rolo pretzels since Dr. S' office a couple years back! Darn sweet tooth... :)
I have to agree with leann. Your kids are too spoiled with your yummy cooking!
I am shocked, are they really Church's? You know Matt's kids would have the thing gone before you got home and I think Laralee is headed that way too!
How's YW going? Could you send me the site you got all the fun get-to-know you games from? We sure miss our Utah family!!
I am so sorry, don't worry I will eat oatmeal pies with you anytime! by the way all my kids love them except Andrew. Guess that gene didn't make it your direction. Maybe we are not twins afterall! Love you
They've been spoiled by yummy homemade goodies!
