We had three large poplar trees taken down out of the back yard this past week. The roar of chain saws sent every 5 year old boy in the neighborhood to our house to watch the event. It was neat to watch the process, which took two days and left us with a Gargantua's amount of firewood. It's a little strange to see our backyard without the trees now, but all good things must come to an end. Now its on to grading, sprinklers and sod. I can fully appreciate why God created the 7th day! Making things beautiful is an amazing amount of work.

I really don't think that you need to do anything to your yard...it already look fabulous!! I think that the 'natural' look is really not used enough in our neighborhood!! Thanks again for the thoughtful gift!!
good luck with all the landscaping. i'm definitely not jealous.
House projects are so much fun, good luck with all the wood.
